Vasant’s rich expertise across various industries includes Banking & Finance, US Federal Government, Manufacturing, Logistics, Educational Research, Energy and Utilities, Telecom, Military, IT Services, United Nations and the Stock Market; spanning across the geographies of US, India, Africa, Europe, Middle East, Japan and Australia. He attended management schools in Indian School of Business (ISB), Wharton School of Management, Northwestern University – Kellogg’s School of Management and University of Maryland USA.
Professor K. D. Joshi
Professor K. D. Joshi was working as Professor and Head of Department of Design at Banasthali Vidyapith.
Professor K. D. Joshi was working as Professor and Head of Department of
Design at Banasthali Vidyapith. He also had additional charge as Principal of
Community College. Prof. Joshi graduated in Science from Pune University in
the year 1973, topping the list of all the Chemistry Students in his College.
He then did his Post Graduate specialisation in Textiles from the prestigious
Bombay University Department of Chemical Technology. He also holds Post
graduate Diploma in Business Management.
Prof Joshi’s current area of Research is in the field of interdisciplinary Design subjects. He has successfully guided and still guiding Ph. D. Scholars in interdisciplinary Design areas. After returning to Pune he is working on the advisory board of Jnana Prabodhini Atal Community Incubation Centre as a specialist in Design Thinking. Prof. Joshi also teaches Design thinking for
Public Policy at Gokhale Institute as a visiting faculty. He is also working as a Mentor of Pune Districtin Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan.
After having a short stint at Hindustan Lever, Prof. Joshi joined Raymond in 1979. He worked in Raymond for 25 years in their units at Kenya, Chhindwara and Thane. In 2004 Prof. Joshi joined Bhilwara group as Vice President – Marketing. In his assignment as Vice President he was responsible for total branding of Mayur Suitings. He has handled Mayur Campaigns with Cricket and Bollywood celebrities like Sehwag and Salman Khan. He also headed the Specialty Sales division which takes care of new and value added business segments such as Flame retardant fabric, Institutional & RMG Sales. In June 2009 he moved to another group company of Bhilwara group, M/s BSL Ltd as Business Development Head and was responsible for all value added Business with special focus on Technical Textiles and the RMG division which is marketing La Italia Brand. In addition he was also the Head of Bhilwara Anusandhan Kendra which was responsible for New Developments in Textile field.
During his over 35 years experience in textile and Chemical industry Prof. Joshi has handled widely varying portfolios. While on one hand he has been very successful multitalented Manager, on another hand he has spent considerable time in academics.
In corporate world Prof Joshi has successfully worked in Production, Marketing, HR and Administration. He has always given out of box solutions and excelled in most of the functions he handled.
On the academic front, prior to joining Banasthali Vidyapith, Prof. Joshi was Principal of Raymond Management Training Centre which was run by Raymond and approved by the Kenyan Government. The Centre was offering a lot of full time and part time courses in various disciplines of Management and textiles. Prof Joshi has always taken a keen interest in Human Resource Development. Prof. Joshi is excellent counsellor and his courses on stress management are very popular amongst his students and industry professionals. He has been a Board member of various educational and Textile Research Institutes both in India and abroad. He was also a member of National Training Council of Kenya. Prof Joshi continues to work as an advisor and shares his experiences with Industry as well
as leading Management, Retail and Design Institutes.

Supriya Pujari Is a renowned Life Coach based out of Pune. She is the founder of Supriya’s Life Coaching Centre. She is an accredited life coach by the International Coach Federation (ICF), USA, and is a master practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). She is also a coach training faculty and mentor coach for InPowerOne – HongKong.
Born and raised in a serene town of Kolhapur, Supriya’s journey from adversity to triumph is a testament to resilience, determination, and unwavering courage. She is appointed as a Leadership Coach for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation USA for women leaders in Maharashtra and she is also appointed as the ICF Coaching education – Asia Pacific Ambassador by ICF USA.
She conducts life coaching sessions to help individuals progress in their careers, solve problems, and overcome emotional barriers. These sessions cover various topics such as career, relationships, stress management, decision-making, leadership development, goal setting, and more. She has worked with diverse clients including CEOs, managers, working professionals, teachers, students, entrepreneurs, media professionals, and homemakers.
Sessions are conducted using deep conversations, games and art to work on mental health, self-confidence, career management , dealing with fears, the art of loving oneself as well as emotional intelligence. Sesisons can be availed in Hindu , Marathi and English languages.
She conducts customised workshops on leadership development, team building, stress management, communication skills, employee counselling. In her initiative coaching for social impact, she has conducted workshops cater to various groups including HIV patients, Specially abled, social workers, nurses, and sex workers, Maternal and Child Healthcare awareness groups, focusing on women empowerment, confidence building, and self-leadership.
Her books “Manmokal – Easy Tips for Stress-Free Living” and “Being Me – A Practical Guide for Self Transformation” are widely read and available in audio format on Storytel. She has impacted over 7000 lives, with clients ranging from ages 9 to 75 across globe.
Her internationally approved coach training program has crossed more than 100 trained coaches across 14 countries.
